In collaboration with investigators in Bristol (Professor David Gunnell) and Manchester (Dr. Nav Kapur), we have been awarded a 4 year programme grant by the National Institute for Health Research to work on various projects in support of the National Suicide Prevention Strategy for England. The Oxford component focuses on drug availability and suicide prevention. The key researcher in Oxford is Sue Simkin. More details are available on the programme website.
